Note that Acts and scenes are labeled after those they were taken from, Shakespeare did not actually skip entire acts and scenes.
Act One
Scene 2
(Enter Caesar, Calpurnia, Casca, Brutus, Cassius, Antony in race wear, and background crowd, Soothsayer from other side)
Caesar: Calpurnia.
Casca: Hey everyone! Caesar’s talking! Woohoo!
Caesar: Ummm… Okay. Calpurnia.
Calpurnia: Yes?
Caesar: While Antony races, get in his way until he touches you. You heard that, Antony?
Antony: Loud and clear. You’re the greatest, Caesar!
(Caesar and Antony bump knuckles)
Soothsayer: Yo Caesar!
Caesar: Who called me?
Casca: Everyone, Caesar’s talking! Shut up!
Caesar: uh… Who called me?
Soothsayer: Yo Caesar, word in the stars is, you best beware the ides of March.
Caesar: Say what again?
Soothsayer: The Fates have it that on the 15th of March, if you don’t check yourself, you’ll wreck yourself. We’re talkin’ shanks to the back, homie. Your boys there may even join in popping that Caesar piñata.
Caesar: Wha-? You break piñatas, not pop them. This man speaks nonsense; let us shun him till he leaves.
(Ohhs and Shuns as Soothsayer leaves)
Now that that weirdo’s gone, let’s go watch some races!
(All but Cassius and Brutus leave cheering)
Cassius: Hey Brutus, you’re a pretty cool cat, right?
Brutus: Sure am! Why?
Cassius: Because I have an idea…
(Both walk away whispering)
Nice Cory. That was very funny
